Cindy Jackson, Pat and Terry Nystrom, Stan and Karen Saner, and Joyce Kyle, all of Burns, attended the Relay for Life in Marion Oct. 18.
Dale and Tootsie Snelling from the Wonsevu area also attended the Relay for Life.
Joyce Kyle and Lanell Hett attended Tom Duggan’s funeral Oct. 15 at Tampa. Duggan was very active with Marion County Senior Citizens.
Sandy Sayers and Lawrence and Lois Sayers were in Abilene Oct. 18. Sandy was on vacation during the week and spent Oct. 21 helping her parents do some work at their home.
Dorene Kirkpatrick and Joyce Kyle went to the United Methodist Church dinner in Peabody Oct. 15.
Lowell Larsen, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Joyce Kyle went to Hillsboro Oct. 16 for the annual Marion County Senior Citizens meeting.
On Oct. 17, Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle went to Moundridge and had supper with Jim and Beulah Gehring. Later they attended the visitation for a cousin, Florence Stucky.
The Burns Countryside Church Friends and Fellowship group had a meeting in the home of Mary Langenegger the evening of Oct. 21. Attending were Pastor Arlen and Mary Busenitz, Emily, Carson, and Jessica; Mike and Larry Spachek, Zeola Langenegger, Mary and Gary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.
