Fired chief

To the editor:

Monday night at the Florence City Council meeting, I asked to be reinstated as fire chief.

I had support from eight Florence fire fighters and Marion County fire chiefs and firefighters along with a lot of town support.

A huge thank you goes out to each and every one of you.

As you can see, I did not get reinstated.

To the citizens of Florence, I did nothing wrong to deserve this treatment. It’s your city council and mayor that did it.
