Citizens of Marion County, beware
To the editor:
I am asking all citizens of Marion County to become informed about the possible wind farm as it will affect us all. The facts are out there, so for us to say “It doesn’t bother me” or “Landowners have a right to use their property as they wish” — but are they really being considerate to themselves or their neighbors within 1 1/2 miles away by allowing a 500-foot tower plus spinning blades (with light flicker and “swoosh” noise) and red blinding lights every 1.5 seconds.
I urge you to get involved and research the facts. Don’t listen to wind companies coming to your door waving money in your face. These contracts need to be looked at very closely.
The contracts may be invasive and take many of your landowner rights away.
