The good fight

To the editor:

What a joy it was to return yesterday from a weekend trip to Chicago to find my first copies of the Marion County Record gracing my mailbox.

I had forgotten how wonderful it was to read an independent newspaper and, while I am sad about the circumstances that brought us together, I consider it a privilege to now be a subscriber and look forward to receiving subsequent editions.

Keep fighting the good fight.
