Leland Kaiser

Leland Kaiser, 93, died Nov. 26, 2011, in Hillsboro.

He was born June 15, 1918, in Durham to Charles and Mary (Knaak) Kaiser. He was a farmer.

He married Virginia Lorenz on Oct. 28, 1943, in Durham. She preceded him in death in 1991.

He is survived by a daughter, Priscilla Unruh of Durham; a sister, Arlene Armstrong of Tonganoxie; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Durham Baptist Church with Pastor Curtis Wiens officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Durham Park Cemetery, rural Durham. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

A memorial fund has been established for Durham Baptist Church.
