Leland Bartel

Services for retired photo technologist Leland Bartel, 75, who died Oct. 22 at West Chester Village in Lenexa, were Oct. 30 at Community Covenant Church in Lenexa.

Burial was in French Creek cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

He was born March 17, 1943, to Henry and Anna Regier Bartel at Hillsboro.

He married Carol Ewert on June 14, 1963, at Johannestal Church at Hillsboro.

Survivors include his wife Carol of Lenexa; and brothers, Monroe Bartel of Moorehead, Minnesota, and Ken Bartel of Topeka.  

Memorials are suggested to Community Covenant Church.
