The administration, staff, and residents of Legacy Park will host an appreciation dinner with entertainment and fireworks beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday on the facility’s front lawn.

“Everyone is invited to come,” said administrator David Scott. “The meal is free, but we ask that people make reservations so we know how much food to plan.”

The menu includes pulled pork, side dishes, a drink, and homemade ice cream made in a surprise diesel-powered machine.

Square dancers will entertain, children can enjoy an inflatable Moon Walk, and there will be a fireworks show after dark.

“We hope the community will turn out. Come and enjoy yourselves, visit with your neighbors and the Legacy Park residents, and have a nice meal,” Scott said.

Attendees are reminded to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
