Laura Ellen Rose, 90, of Burns died Sunday in Goessel. She was born Feb. 17, 1923, in Hallowell to Floyd and Leora (Usrey) Parsons.

She was a housewife. She married Bill Rose in March 1961. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Rick Rose of Cherryville; and a daughter, Joyce Hein of North Newton.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Cemetery in El Dorado with Chaplain Gayle Graber officiating.A memorial fund has been established for Bethesda Home in Goessel.
