Lady Tomahawks take on the Eagles

The Lady Tomahawks lost a match to Canton-Galva on Thursday. The team lost the first game, 11-25, and the second, 20-25.

The team will play Moundridge next at home.

The Eagles took a quick lead in game one, 7-3, and then extended it to 14-7. Seven PBJHS errors made it tough to put the offense in action. Saje Bayes scored and had an ace in the game but the Lady Tomahawks lost, 11-25.

In game two, PBJHS squad took the lead, 10-7. Alyssa Brooks had four service points, including an ace. Houstin Howell served three points and took the team to a 14-11 lead. Canton-Galva came back and tied the game at 15-15. The Lady Tomahawks scored four to give the PBJHS squad the advantage, 19-17, but Canton-Galva bounced back to lead, 20-19.

Bayes served an ace to make the lead 22-20, but the Eagles scored the next five points for the win. The Lady Tomahawks were defeated in game two, 20-25.
