Keith Sheffler

Keith Sheffler, 72, of Peabody, died Feb. 17, 2009, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus, Wichita.

He was a retired employee of AGCO Corporation of Hesston.

Born May 12, 1936, in Newton, he was the son of William Andrew and Vivian (Vance) Sheffler.

On Jan 11, 1999, he married Joyce Arnold in Oklahoma. She survives of the home.

His parents, a wife, Betty Sheffler, and seven brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Other survivors include two sons, Randy Sheffler of Sedgwick and Gary Sheffler of Peabody; two brothers; five sisters; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services were Friday afternoon at First Church of God, Newton, with Pastor Brian Curran officiating.

Burial was at Restlawn Gardens of Memory, Newton.

Memorial funds have been established with VFW or American Legion.
