Junior Warriors still search for victory

The Peabody-Burns Junior High School Junior Warriors are still in search of their first football victory this season. The squad lost Thursday to Rural Vista, 56-6. They will play at home against Little River Thursday.

Rural Vista had a big first half, racking up 44 points on seven possessions.

The Junior Warriors had six offensive possessions before getting on the scoreboard late in the second period. Austin Reynolds earned the touchdown on a quarterback sneak. The conversion failed. PBJHS trailed, 44-6, at halftime.

Rural Vista offense found the end zone twice in the third quarter. The 45-point rule was observed and the game ended, 56-6, in the third quarter.
