Joyce Hanneman, 80, of Hillsboro died Feb. 11, 2012, in Hillsboro. She was born May 19, 1931, in Tampa to Thomas and Maude (Carter) Costello.

She was a farm wife. She married Ervin Hein on Feb. 13, 1945, in Newton. He preceded her in death. She later married Clifford Hanneman on Sept. 4, 1979, in Hillsboro. He also preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, Dick Hein and Steven Hein, both of Hillsboro; two daughters, Patricia Funk of Dodge City and Sharon Funk of Hillsboro; one brother, Darrel Costello; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Hillsboro, with Pastor Gaylord Goertzen officiating. There will be a private family burial.
