Services for Durham welder Jerry Rader, 70, who died Sunday at Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Durham Baptist Church, Durham.
Born April 4, 1949, in Abilene to Alvie and Etta Rees Rader, he married Eileen Stefan May 10, 1997, in rural Lehigh.
Survivors include wife of Durham; sons Curly Miller and Les Shaffer of Hillsboro; daughters Debbie Blanding of Beloit, Carol McHenry of Winter Park, Colorado, Marie Kessler of rural Lehigh, and Kayla Rader of Hillsboro; sister Diana Hawthorne of Coffeyville; 17 grandchildren; and26 great-grandchildren.
A son, Jason Rader, preceded him in death.
The Jerry Rader Fund has been established for memorials.
