Jeffrey Raskopf

Jeffrey Shawn Raskopf, 45, of Peabody, died May 8, in Marion County.

He was born June 25, 1965, to Larry Sr. and Glenda Kay (Wilkinson) Raskopf.

Jeff attended Newton High School and Salina Area Vocational School. He worked as an auto and truck mechanic in Newton for many years before becoming a truck driver for R&C Transportation, Pittsburg, in 2008. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and recreational sports and spending time with his family and friends.

Jeff is survived by his parents of Peabody; children Kendra Rains and husband Tom of Valley Center and Jhon Raskopf of Peabody; a brother, Larry Raskopf Jr. and wife Paula of Pittsburg; a sister, Michelle Wonders and husband Mike of Newton; and nieces Ashley Crider and husband Garrett of El Dorado, Karissa Wonders of Lawrence, and Kami Wonders of Newton; and a great-nephew.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial has been established with Harvey County Ducks Unlimited, PO Box 418, Hesston KS 67062.
