Jaxon Layne Thornhill, infant son of Zeth Thornhill and Sherri Hess of Marion, died Jan. 28 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

He was born Jan. 25 at Newton Medical Center.

Survivors include his parents of Marion; siblings Macy, Kelli, Erika, and Jake Hess of Marion; and grandparents Gene and Doris Winkler of Marion and Patricia Igleheart of Florence.

Visitation with family will be 5 to 7 tonight at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Marion Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established with Marion Recreation Commission in care of the funeral home.
