It’s time for Trunk or Treat
The annual “Trunk or Treat” gala will be Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the 100 block of downtown Peabody.
Any business, group, or person can set up their “trunk” any time after 4 p.m. It can be the trunk of a car, the bed of a pickup, an actual trunk, or just a lawn chair. Participants are encouraged use festive, scary, or creepy decorations.
The street will be blocked off beginning at 5:15 p.m. Peabody Bucks will be awarded for the best trunks. Top prize is $100, second is $60, and third is $40.
Kids’ costume prizes of $10 in Peabody Bucks also will be awarded. Peabody Main Street Association sponsors the annual event.
