The sheriff’s office reported the following:

Battery

An individual struck his estranged wife and a friend at 1 a.m. May 7. The location of the offense was not listed on the report.

Two incidents of aggravated battery were reported by Tonja Rae Jones, McPherson, at 12:10 a.m. May 22 at 100 U.S. 56, Lehigh. No other information was available on the report.

Property damage

Between 8 p.m. May 20 and 10:35 a.m. May 21, someone destroyed a mailbox at 1881 E. 60th Road, Peabody. Dennis C. Wilson, 1881 E. 60th Road, Peabody, reported the crime.

Theft

More than $1,000 in fishing gear was taken from a campsite at Marion Reservoir. The incident was reported at 10 a.m. May 22 by Keith L. Neuway, Mount Hope. Two tackle boxes, a minnow bucket and $1,000 in fishing tackle was reportedly taken.

Assault

Someone kicked in the front door at 2870 N. U.S. 77, Lincolnville, during a fight with the homeowner and his girlfriend. The incident occurred at 2:24 a.m. May 22 and was reported by Brandon Sean Albrecht, 2870 N. U.S. 77, Lincolnville.
