Ruth Jones

A funeral ceremony for Ruth Kline Jones, 91, Topeka, who passed away Aug. 3, was Friday at Dove Southwest Chapel in Topeka.

Visitation was prior to the funeral. Burial of her husband, Glenn, who died Jan. 5, and Ruth was after the service at Mount Hope Cemetery.

She was born Ruth Anne Kline on June 1, 1929, in Marion and was a daughter of Harry R. and Georgia E. (Williams) Kline. She received a high school diploma from Marion High School. 

Ruth was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for years and worked as a real estate agent after retiring. 

She was a member of Susanne Wesley United Methodist Church, Topeka.

Ruth married Glenn Edward Jones in 1966 in Topeka.

Survivors include son Jim Sutherland; son-in-law William Temple; grandchildren Brandy and Brian Temple; great-grandchildren Andrew, Grayson, Avery, Addison, Abbey and Brooke; and great-great-grandchild Easton.
