John Meyer

John Frederick Meyer, 81, formerly of Herington, died June 25 at Marion. He was born Feb. 6, 1938. He was the son of Adolph and Lydia Harmon Meyer.

Funeral services were Friday, June 28, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Herington. Burial was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery of Latimer.

He is survived by sons Mark Meyer and wife Marsha of Tampa, Brian Meyer and wife Tammy of Kansas City, Missouri, and Eric Meyer of Austin, Texas; daughters Toni Svitak and husband Jamie Harold of Woodbine, and Terri Meyer of Herington; brother Frank Meyer and wife Shirley, of Herington; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
