Debbie Schroeder

Celebration of life services for Debbie Schroeder, 65, who passed away Sept. 22 at Newton Medical Center, were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, rural Goessel. Pastors Colton Olsen and Lois Harder officiated.

Born May 13, 1956, in Fort Leavenworth to Robert and Violet (Sparks) Farr, she married Russ Schroeder on Nov. 1, 1975, in Goessel.

Survivors include husband Russ Schroeder of rural Goessel; son Jeremy Schroeder (and wife Maggie) of rural Goessel; daughter Tina Groening (and husband Justin) of rural Marion; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers Robert Farr and Jimmy Farr; sisters Carolyn Ann Burris, Rosemary Judan, Linda Bills, and Jean Gardner; and mother Violet St. Clair.

A brother, Bob Parsons, and her father, Robert Farr, preceded her in death.
