Local Red Hat Society members and Sunflower Café will team up as hosts for benefit ice cream social 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Sassy Silk Hatters will provide baked goods to go with ice cream donated by Sunflower Café. Proceeds will help the Peabody Christmas Light committee pay for lights on downtown buildings that were broken in a hailstorm earlier this summer.

The ice cream social will be at Sunflower Café, inside Peabody Lanes, downtown Peabody.
