The Homestead Community reunion will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Cassoday Community building. Everyone is welcome, but attendees are encouraged to bring a covered dish.
Jamie Lang, of Emporia, daughter of John and Denise, was their guest for Mother’s Day guest for dinner.
Shannon Foster of Ankeny, Iowa, was the weekend guest of Janet Cress. Janet ate supper with Brandon and Sue Cress May 9. On May 10, Janet received her daughter Shealah and Dave West of Newton.
Dale and Tootsie Snelling went to a track meet in Hesston on May 8 to watch their grandchildren Seth and Molly Hess compete.
On May 10, the Snellings went to Goessel City Park to celebrate the birthdays of Elly and Lilly Mia. Their parents are Linn and Kent of Goessel. The Snellings also celebrated Mother’s Day. Other family and friends from Sedgwick, Marion, Wichita, and Newton attended the celebration.
Bill and Margie Williams visited Gary Williams and Jenny for dinner on Mother’s Day. Other guests were Will and Gayla Soyez and Elliot.
