March 28: A welfare check was provided in the 400 block of South Birch Street. A traffic complaint was checked at D and Ash streets. A dog complaint was reported in the 300 block of South Ash Street. A motorist received assistance in the 400 block of North Ash Street.
March 29: Marion County Sheriff’s Department received assistance with an eviction in the 300 block of North Birch Street. A complaint was filed of an underage driver on D Street. Assistance was provided to Hillsboro Fire Department with a vehicle fire on U.S. 56. A motorist received assistance at U.S. 56 and Ash Street. Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitative Services received assistance with an investigation. An abandoned bicycle was reported in the 100 block of South Main Street. Individuals were fingerprinted for employment purposes.
March 30: A disturbance was reported in the 500 block of East D Street when an incident had occurred the night before; charges are pending. Harvey County Sheriff’s Department received assistance with an investigation. A business in Hillsboro Heights reported receiving several unauthorized checks; a suspect has been identified and the case remains under investigation. A motorist received assistance in the 300 block of North Ash Street. Several adults were reportedly arguing in the street in the 100 block of West B Street regarding the behavior of children.
March 31: An officer taught a DARE class at Hillsboro Elementary School. Hillsboro Electric Department received assistance with an electrical disconnect in the 100 block of South Birch Street. Assistance was provided to an individual who was moving a structure through town. A welfare check was provided at Jefferson and B streets.
Thursday: An individual in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street reported someone had thrown eggs at their vehicle. A DARE class was taught at HES. A vehicle was damaged by debris from another vehicle on U.S. 56. A motorist received assistance in the 400 block of North Ash Street. Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of North Washington Street. Streetlights were checked.
Friday: A non-injury accident was investigated in the 600 block of North Ash Street. Kansas Bureau of Investigation and McPherson Police Department received assistance with investigations. Assistance was provided to court services officers. Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of South Jefferson Street. Hillsboro City Council packets were delivered to council members.
Saturday: Assistance was provided to parent with a child behavioral problem, McPherson Police Department with an investigation, and regarding a suspicious person on 190th Road.
