March 7: A parking complaint was checked at the sports complex. A curfew violation was reported in Memorial Park. Marion County Sheriff’s Department received assistance with an investigation. A child custody dispute was investigated in the 300 block of South Birch Street.
March 8: An officer taught a DARE class at Hillsboro Elementary School and assisted with a Daisy Scout display at Hillsboro Fire Department. Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of South Cedar Street. Emergency Medical Services personnel received assistance at Tabor College. A welfare concern was checked in the 300 block of North Ash Street. A motorist received assistance at D and Adams streets.
March 9: Suspicious activity was reported at Hillsboro Heights. McPherson Police Department received assistance. Assistance with an investigation was provided to Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitative Services. A motorist received assistance at Goldenrod and 250th roads. Three people were fingerprinted for employment purposes. A driver was stopped on suspicion of reckless driving on Indigo Road.
March 10: Officers attended storm spotter training and safety training. Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of North Ash Street. Assistance was provided to EMS in the 300 block of South Adams Street. A DARE class was taught at HES. Individuals were fingerprinted for employment purposes.
Thursday: A child welfare concern was reported in the 300 block of South Cedar Street. SRS received assistance. Police assisted with a statewide tornado drill. A door-to-door sales permit was issued. A suspicious person was reported on South Kennedy Street. A child custody dispute was checked in the 300 block of North Birch Street. Assistance was provided in setting up the weather watch station. A motorist received assistance at 210 and Jade roads. Marion Police Department received assistance with an investigation.
Friday: Hillsboro City Council packets were delivered. Streetlights were checked for the city electric department. Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of North Main Street. A stranded motorist was reported in the 800 block of East D Street.
Saturday: A child custody dispute was reported in the 400 block of South Birch Street. A welfare concern was checked in the 200 block of North Ash Street. Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of East F Street.
