Jan. 10: Assistance was provided with a reckless driving complaint on U.S. 56. An emergency message was delivered in the 500 block of South Adams Street.
Jan. 11: Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services received assistance with an investigation when an individual reported possible sexual abuse to a Hillsboro child that occurred in another jurisdiction. Lost property was returned to owner. A motorist received assistance in Hillsboro Heights.
Jan. 12: An 18-year-old woman reported being raped in her residence by an acquaintance. The victim was taken to Wichita for an examination. The case remains under investigation. Assistance with an investigation was provided to SRS. Three individuals were fingerprinted for employment purposes. A reckless driving complaint on Indigo Road was checked. Response was given to a medic alert alarm in the 600 block of South Main Street.
Jan. 13: Officers attended a DARE class at Hillsboro Elementary School and a safety meeting at city hall. A loose pig was reported in the 300 block of East First Street. Marion Police Department received assistance with a property dispute, which was determined to be a civil matter. SRS received assistance with an investigation.
Thursday: A dog complaint was filed in the 300 block of North Birch Street. A loose pig was reported in the 200 block of North Adams Street. Assistance was provided to Peabody Police Department. A civil property dispute was reported in the 300 block of North Ash Street.
Friday: Violation of a protection from abuse order was reported in the 200 block of West B Street. Suspicious activity was checked in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street. A parking complaint was filed in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street.
Saturday: A possible telephone scam was reported in the 300 block of North Lincoln Street. Assistance was provided to McPherson Police Department with an investigation.
Sunday: A dog complaint at D and Ash streets was filed. A motorist received assistance in the 400 block of North Ash Street. Reckless driving was reported on U.S. 56.
