March 18: Police assisted Marion County Sheriff’s Department with a reckless driver complaint and an out-of-control juvenile at Marion Reservoir. Officers took a harassment complaint in the 400 block of North Ash Street; the subject said a former boyfriend would not stop knocking on her door.

March 19: An officer installed a new computer at the weather watch base. Officers responded to a child custody dispute in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street.

March 20: Officers took a dog complaint in the 300 block of North Main Street. Officers took a harassment complaint in the 400 block of North Ash Street; the subject said they were being harassed by a neighbor. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of South Date Street; both parties said they were struck by the other. A runaway was reported in the 200 block of North Jefferson Street; the juvenile was located and in the custody of the custodial parent. Burglary was reported in the 300 block of South Date Street; the subject reported someone entered her house and removed cash, cigarettes, and clothing.

March 21: Officers responded to a child custody dispute in the 200 block of North Jefferson. Officers assisted SRS with an investigation. Officers assisted a motorist on U.S. 56. A threat complaint was taken in the 200 block of North Jefferson Street; the subject reported his juvenile son sent him threatening text messages. Officers assisted a motorist in the 300 block of North Ash Street.

Thursday: A child welfare complaint in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street was checked; three children were temporarily taken into police protective custody. A harassment complaint was taken in the 300 block of North Madison Street; the subject reported her ex-husband may have violated a protection from abuse order. Officers received blood-borne pathogen training. Theft was reported in the 100 block of North Madison Street; the subject reported someone removed a UPS package from her front porch. A dog complaint was taken in the 300 block of South Washington Street.

Friday: A curfew violation was reported in the 100 block of South Cedar Street. A dog complaint was received in the 300 block of North Birch Street. Officers assisted a motorist in the 500 block of East D Street.

Saturday: Criminal use of a financial card was reported; the subject reported the unauthorized use of his credit card in another state. Officers assisted SRS with an investigation. A noise complaint was checked in the 100 block of North Madison Street. Officers assisted Marion County Sheriff’s Department with a prowler complaint.

Sunday: Traffic complaints were checked on East D Street and the 200 block of North Ash Street. Officers assisted a motorist in the 400 block of North Ash Street. A dog complaint was checked in the 300 block of South Ash Street.
