A dog complaint was filed in the 200 block of North Jefferson Street. A parking complaint was reported in the 200 block of North Main Street. A report of reckless driving was checked in the 800 block of East D Street. A suspicious vehicle was checked in the 300 block of South Ash Street.
June 8 — Assistance was provided to the sheriff’s department with a property dispute. A traffic complaint was filed at D and Ash streets. Trespassing was reported at Tabor College. A motorist received assistance at Main and D streets.
June 9 — Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks received assistance with an investigation. Equipment was checked and repaired at the weather watch station. A dog complaint was reported in the 600 block of South Lincoln Street. A suspicious person was checked in the 300 block of West Third Street.
June 10 — A dispute among neighbors was reported in the 300 block of South Ash Street. Officers attended a safety meeting at City Hall. A complaint was made of children playing on a roof in the 300 block of North Birch Street. A report of reckless driving on U.S. 56 was investigated. A rear door of a vehicle was reported damaged in the 300 block of North Birch Street; damage was estimated at $500. Suspicious activity was checked in the 100 block of West Grand Avenue.
June 11 — Kansas Department of Health and Environment received assistance with investigation of a report of tattoos being given without a license. A child custody dispute was reported in the 400 block of North Ash Street. A 911 disconnect was checked in the 400 block of South Washington Street. A suicidal person was reported in the 400 block of North Ash Street and transported to a mental health facility.
June 12 — Assistance was provided to a city inspector in investigating reports of a code violation in the 300 block of South Ash Street. A motorist received assistance in the 400 block of North Ash Street. Loose chickens were reported in the 200 block of North Ash Street. City Council packets were delivered. A dog complaint was filed in the 300 block of South Ash Street.
June 13 — Officers provided a bicycle registration program in the 600 block of North Ash Street. A dog attacked a postal worker in the 200 block of South Madison Street; the dog was sedated and removed from town. A camper hook-up was provided at Memorial Park. Suspicious activity was checked at Marion County fairgrounds. Assistance was provided to another agency investigating a report of reckless driving on U.S. 56.
June 14 — Kansas Highway Patrol received assistance with a vehicle pursuit and manhunt southwest of Hillsboro. An activated commercial alarm was checked in Hillsboro Industrial Park. Suspicious activity was checked at Hillsboro Family Aquatics Center.
June 15 — Officers received a report of possible child pornography. The case remains under investigation. A 911 disconnect was checked in the 500 block of East Grand Avenue. Suspicious activity was checked in the 300 block of North Birch Street. An activated residential alarm in the 100 block of North Birch Street was checked. Prowlers were reported at Tabor College. Curfew violators were cited in the 100 block of West Grand Avenue.
Saturday — A trespass complaint was checked in the 100 block of South Ash Street. Emergency medical services personnel received assistance with a call in the 200 block of South Birch Street. Officers assisted with a weather watch.
