July 17: Marion police received assistance with a domestic disturbance. A 911 disconnect at Tabor College was checked. Lost property was returned to the owner.

July 18: An individual reported missing property, which was recovered. Newton Court Services received assistance with an investigation. A disturbance in the 500 block of East First Street was a result of two people arguing about money. Assistance was provided to a sheriff’s deputy with a suicidal person.

July 19: A person was fingerprinted for employment purposes. A motorist received assistance in the 500 block of East D Street. A curfew violation occurred in Memorial Park. The owner of an illegal animal was ordered to remove it from the city limits.

July 20: A 911 disconnect at Tabor College was checked. A trespass complaint was reported in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street. A dog complaint was checked in the 400 block of South Date Street.

Thursday: A 911 disconnect at Tabor College was checked. A snake was removed from a driveway in the 300 block of North Adams Street. A dog complaint was reported in the 300 block of Floral Drive. A theft was reported in the 400 block of South Washington Street, when someone reported items missing from her mailbox. A lost item was returned to the owner. A disturbance was checked in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street. Emergency medical services personnel received assistance at Second and Birch streets. Suspicious activity was checked in the 200 block of North Main Street. A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of South Ash Street, when a Hillsboro man was arrested for battery and driving under the influence.

Friday: A dog complaint was checked in the 300 block of North Ash Street. A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of East B Street. A person was fingerprinted for employment purposes.

Saturday: A traffic complaint was checked in the 500 block of East D Street. A motorist received assistance in the 500 block of East D Street. A curfew violation was reported downtown. Suspicious activity was checked at city hall. Bicycles were registered at the police office.
