May 22: A 911 disconnect at Tabor College was checked. A dog complaint was reported in the 300 block of South Ash Street. A parking complaint was checked in the 100 block of South Adams Street. A motorist received assistance in the 400 block of North Ash Street.

May 23: An officer tested equipment at the weather watch station. A raccoon was reported in a dog pen in the 800 block of West Grand Avenue. Suspicious activity was checked in the 100 block of North Main Street. A noise complaint was reported in the 300 block of West Third Street.

May 24: Assistance was given to Great Bend police with an investigation. An officer performed maintenance check at the weather watch station. An individual reported someone had poured ketchup on his vehicle. Officers participated in weather watch because of severe storms. A harassment complaint was filed in the 100 block of North Birch Street when someone reported being harassed by text messaging.

May 25: A vandalism complaint was reported in the 300 block of North Washington Street, when someone reported a pecan tree was destroyed; damage was estimated at $100. A sheriff’s deputy received assistance with a domestic disturbance. Bicycles were registered at the police office. A possible suicidal person was reported in the 100 block of North Cedar Street. Some juveniles reported being harassed by several youths in a vehicle.

May 26: A 911 disconnect in the 200 block of North Ash Street was reported; officers talked with the caller and she was belligerent and possibly intoxicated. Bicycles were registered at the police office. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 600 block of North Ash Street; after further investigation it was discovered that an individual had gotten into the wrong vehicle and left with it. A report was made of children throwing rocks at a school bus. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 400 block of South Ash Street; after further investigation it was determined that the owner had forgotten he had let a friend borrow the vehicle.

May 27: An individual was arrested in the 100 block of North Cedar Street on outstanding warrants. A camper hook-up was provided in Memorial Park. A theft was reported in the 100 block of South Lincoln Street. An individual reported that someone had tampered with her mail and removed money from an envelope. A fox was reported in the 100 block of South Jefferson Street. A vicious dog complaint was filed in the 200 block of Willow Glen Street.

May 28: An officer assisted Hillsboro Community Hospital by providing a ride for a discharged patient. A sheriff’s deputy received assistance with a domestic disturbance at Marion Reservoir. A noise complaint was reported at Cedar and Grand streets. A burglary was reported in the 400 block of South Cedar Street when someone reported $60 being removed from her trailer.
