Jan. 30: Suspicious activity was checked in the 900 block of East Grand Avenue. A dog complaint was reported in the 400 block of North Adams Street. Assistance was provided with a suicidal person at Hillsboro Community Hospital. McPherson police received assistance in finding a missing person.

Jan. 31: Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of West Second Street. A non-injury accident was reported in Hillsboro Industrial Park. An officer instructed a D.A.R.E. class at Hillsboro Elementary School. A landlord and tenant dispute was reported in the 400 block of South Main Street. Missing property was returned to the owner. Transportation was provided to a person stranded at the hospital. An individual reported he was receiving e-mails from his girlfriend, stating that someone had taken her and was going to kill her; the case was referred to McPherson police, where the victim lives.

Feb. 1: An officer assisted with severe weather conditions. A one-vehicle accident was investigated in the 100 block of South Main Street. Assistance was provided to several motorists whose vehicles became stuck in snow. A vehicle lockout was reported on Willow Road. Suspicious activity was checked in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Feb. 2: Motorists received assistance when their vehicles became stuck in snowdrifts.

Thursday: A dog complaint was checked in the 200 block of South Birch Street. Motorists received assistance when their vehicles became stuck in snow. Water department personnel received assistance in the 200 block of South Main Street.

Friday: A parking complaint was checked in the 100 block of North Main Street. An officer presented a drug awareness program. A motorist received assistance in the 100 block of North Main Street.

Saturday: A dog complaint was checked on North Washington Street. A non-injury accident was investigated in the 400 block of South Birch Street. An unattended child was reported walking on West Grand Avenue.
