Jan. 2: A dispute between a landlord and tenant was reported in the 200 block of South Cedar Street. A motorist received assistance in the 400 block of West D Street. Stolen property was recovered from a residence. A violation of a protection from abuse order was reported in the 400 block of South Birch Street.
Jan. 3: A license tag was reported lost or stolen in the 400 block of South Jefferson Street. A skunk was killed at Third and Washington streets. An individual reported inappropriate behavior between an adult male and juvenile female. Individuals were fingerprinted for employment purposes. A motorist did not pay for fuel in the 300 block of North Ash Street.
Jan. 4: An individual returned stolen road signs from Tabor College. A cat complaint was checked in the 200 block of North Jefferson Street. Assistance was provided to a motorist in the 500 block of East D Street.
Jan. 5: McPherson County Sheriff’s Office received assistance with an investigation. An opossum was killed in the 500 block of North Adams Street. Assistance was provided to the sheriff’s office with a reckless driving complaint on 190th Road. A K-9 unit performed a vehicle search. An individual reported the theft of a $400 iPod from a school locker; the item was later recovered.
Thursday: An individual was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 500 block of East D Street. A disoriented person was reported in the 100 block of East Grand Avenue and was examined by emergency medical services; it was determined the patient had not been taking prescription medication as prescribed. A child custody dispute was reported in the 300 block of North Ash Street. A motorist received assistance in the 400 block of North Ash Street.
Friday: Suspicious activity was checked in the 500 block of West Grand Avenue. A funeral escort was provided. Dog complaints were checked in the 100 block of South Ash Street and the 400 block of West Grand Avenue with the second dog taken to a veterinary clinic. Assistance was provided to Union Pacific Railroad personnel.
Saturday: Lost property was returned to the owner. A noise complaint in the 200 block of West Grand Avenue was reported. Suspicious activity was checked in the 100 block of North Main Street.
