Don and Dawn Hett of Marion announce the engagement of their son, Jeremy James Hett, to Kassidy Lee Bliss of Halstead.

The bride-to-be’s parents are Dan Bliss of Bentley and Robin Bliss of Halstead.

Bliss is a 2017 graduate of Halstead High School. She is a student at Oklahoma State University, majoring in agribusiness and minoring in finance. She will graduate in May 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. She works at USDA Rural Development Agency in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The future bridegroom is a 2017 graduate of Marion High School. He completed a one-year course in welding last May at North Central Kansas Technical College in Beloit and will graduate in May with a welding engineering technology degree from NCK Technical College in Hays. He works at Hess Services in Hays.

The couple plan to be married in an outdoor ceremony May 25 in rural Marion.
