Junior pitcher Hunter Hein led 11 Hillsboro athletes named last week to all-league teams for Central Kansas League.

Hein was Hillsboro’s only first-team selection in baseball or softball.

Selected to the second team in baseball were freshman shortstop Matthew Potucek and junior outfielder Caleb Potucek.

Senior first baseman Brooks Gardner and junior outfielder Jess Philpott received honorable mention.

In softball, freshman pitcher Skyler Stucky, sophomore shortstop Dani Klein, and senior utility player Cheyenne Bernhardt were named to the second team.

Senior outfielder Trinity Malm, sophomore first baseman Tuesday Weisbeck, and freshman second baseman Reese Hefley received honorable mention.
