Halloween events planned

Peabody Main Street Association is sponsoring Trunk-or-Treat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in downtown Peabody.

Participants are asked to decorate a truck bed, car trunk, or lawn chair and pass out goodies to children.

The 100 block of Walnut will be blocked off for the safety of the trick-or-treaters.

Prizes will be awarded for best-decorated trunks and kids’ costumes.

Halloween and Hotdogs will be sponsored by The Main Street Boutique, U Knead It Bakery, and The Wringer.
