Guests of John and Denise Lang to celebrate the birthday of Johnny Lang on July 31 were Jessica Maddox, Dana, and Daxton of Strong City, Jamie Lang of Emporia, and Johnny Lang and Shelby Andrews of Towanda.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling recently returned from a bus trip to Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, and Kansas. Trip highlights included Little Bighorn battlefield, Glacier National Park, Sea Lions Cave, and Redwood National Park.

Margie Williams helped Sherry Hess serve food July 27 and 28 at the Marion County Fair.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling and Doni Rogers attended a funeral for Marge Osgood July 29.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling attended a funeral for Barbara Harris on Aug. 6 in Peabody.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling visited Dan and Tammy Snelling Aug. 6 in Marion.

Bill and Margie Williams visited Margie’s sister Thelma Thispen for the weekend in Little Rock. They attended a Williams reunion at Hampton along with 92 others. Others who attended included Gary and Terry Williams and Carl and Becca Williams, Sadie, and Lucy.

Lorena Magathan, Anna Voelker, Sue Elouth, Eilene Hallowell, and Margie Williams met for pie and coffee July 29.

Bill and Margie Williams met Gary Williams on July 31 in Florence for lunch. Later that afternoon, Tootsie Snelling visited.

Doni Rogers went to a barbecue July 28 in Cottonwood Falls, and visited her cousin July 31 in the Hutchinson hospital.
