Lorena Magathan, Anita Voelker, Sue Clough, and Margie Williams met for pie and coffee June 8 at a Florence restaurant.

Bill and Margie Williams met son Gary Williams from Goddard and grandson Carl Williams from Wamego for lunch June 10 in Florence. Carl later visited his grandparents’ home.

Tootsie Snelling was a guest June 9 of Denise Lang.

John and Johnny Lang played softball June 10 with the Florence Jackrabbits at Florence.

A friend stopped by Doni Roger’s house June 8. Another friend from Emporia stopped by June 9 and went out to eat with Doni. After church the next day, Doni went to a fish fry at St. Anthony’s Church in Strong City. She attended Gene Peacock’s 90th birthday party June 11 and took a ride with Sue Alexander along Spring Creek Rd. to Cedar Point Cemetery.

Will Soyez, Leroy Parks, and Pat Sauble are all recovering from health concerns.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling joined Dean Snelling and Mark and Leann Lewman and Kiana to celebrate Kiana’s 20th birthday June 10 in Newton.
