Grandson to compete on TV

Country singer Dan Marshall, grandson of Margie and the late Richard Schwartz of Marion, will appear on “American Idol” at 7 p.m. Sunday on ABC.

Marshall lives in Chesapeake, Virginia, and is the son of Ray and Peri Griffith.
