Good, Gardner exchange vows at Army post

Kayla Kathleen Gardner and Spc. Isaac James Good were united in marriage June 27 at Evergreen Chapel, Fort Lewis, Wash.

Parents of the couple are Lisa Tillman of Central Park, Wash.; James Gardner of Elma, Wash.; and Chuck and Susan Good of Peabody.

Grandparents are Jim and Donna Wilson of Montesano, Wash.; Jim and Evelyn Gardner of Yelm, Wash.; and Dave and Esther Stucky of Peabody.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Elma High School.

The groom is a serving with the U.S. Army at Fort Lewis. He completed combat training, combat lifesaving, and air assault courses at Fort Campbell, Ky., and a warrior leader course. He earned soldier of the month honors, brigade solider of the quarter, and competed for soldier of the year.

He was deployed to Iraq on July 20 for one year. His wife, Kayla, resides in Peabody.
