‘Godspell’ is Tabor fall musical

Twelve Tabor College students will perform “Godspell” as the college’s homecoming musical Oct. 2 to 6.

“It’s an uplifting and joyous musical loosely based on teachings and parables found in the Gospel of Matthew,” director Judy Harder said.

The cast includes sophomore Olivia Kliewer and senior Nathan Vogel, both of Hillsboro, as well as juniors Andrea Acker of Littleton, Colo., Cheyenne Derksen of Goddard, Jesse Todd of Onida, S.D.; and seniors Jessica Coldwell of Arkansas City, Sydney Coughlin of Visalia, Calif., Hannah Evans of Wichita, Robert Howell of Newton, Silas Pederson of Gretna, Neb., Kelyn Vix of Maize, and Benjamin Wiens of Fresno, Calif.

Songs include “Day by Day,” “Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord,” and “All Good Gifts.”

The musical will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2 to 5 and 2 p.m. Oct. 6 in the Tabor College Chapel-Auditorium. Tickets are $12, or $8 for students, and can be reserved by calling the student life office at (620) 947-3121 ext. 1033.
