Ronnie and Patti Gaines spent Oct. 8 and 9 in Perry. They attended the wedding of Richard and Vicky Gantz’s daughter Alison Gantz to Arron Frieze. Dusty Gaines, Ty and Kim Gaines, Brooke, and Gunnar also attended the wedding.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale attended the wedding of their granddaughter Laura Nightengale to Austin Locke in Wichita the afternoon of Oct. 8.
Diane Nelson took Marie Clark to Newton on Sunday morning to see Jen Stucky.
Jim and Beulah Gehring called on Joyce Kyle on Oct. 7 and Jim worked on Joyce’s heating stove.
Burns Senior Citizens met Oct. 11 at Burns Community Center for their October meeting. Only a small group attended. There was no business meeting. Several shared tales of Halloweens they remembered.
