Free concert planned

The Switchgrass String Quartet will present a free concert 7 p.m. Friday at the Shari Flaming Center for the Arts as part of Tabor College’s concert series. The four-part program includes music inspired by the soundscapes of Kansas’ wild environments.

Emporia State University orchestral conductor Ramiro Miranda and Wichita native Rob Loren will play violin; Friends University orchestra director Lillian Green will play viola; and Flint Hills Counterpoint organizer Susan Mayo will play cello.
