Foundation will reveal assistance plan

Staff writer

Peabody Community Foundation is eager to provide information to community non-profit organizations that will impact fundraising for many of them.

The foundation is inviting members of local non-profits to a meeting at 7 p.m. on June 9 in the Ann Potter room of Peabody Township Library to share the information.

PFC board member Nelson Patton said invitations are going out to members of non-profit groups this week.

“The purpose of the meeting is two-fold,” Patton said. “We want to provide a casual setting so that we can all get to know one another better.”

“And the emphasis of the evening is to explain to the groups that we want to partner with them on a campaign that will be helpful to all of us,” he added. “We want to share the plan and help the groups that help our community.”

Patton asked that non-profit group members RSVP to him by June 6 so the foundation can plan for refreshments.

Patton can be reached by email at nmp@thebankcollector.com or by text or phone at (316) 772-8048.
