The Peabody Community Foundation held its annual Donor Appreciation and Celebration Dinner on Nov. 17 in the Peabody-Burns High School cafeteria.
The annual dinner is held to recognize those who have made gifts to the various endowment funds the PCF has in its portfolio.
The evening included a presentation, “Philanthropy and the Study of Elephants,” by Denise Unruh, Director of the Oklahoma State University Foundation. Unruh is the former director of the Pratt Community Foundation.
PCF Board Chairman Lynn Berns shared the achievements of the foundation for 2011 and announced that Peabody Community Foundation will once again receive grant requests from the community. Application forms are available from Peabody State Bank, Peabody City Building, and USD 398 Central Office.
All grant requests must be received by Jan. 25.
