Peabody Community Fund will earn a match from Kansas Health Foundation up to $180,000 for donations to the PCF Endowed Operating Fund and the PCF Health Fund.

The local group must raise $360,000 to earn the $180,000 match, but PCF has until 2015 to do so.

“Donations can be a onetime gift, or a donor can make a yearly contribution for as many years as he or she wishes,” PCF Board Chairman Lynn Berns said. “This really is an investment in Peabody’s future.

“We hope current and past members of the community remember what Peabody gave them and make a contribution so that future generations can benefit from the Peabody experience.”

Donations to PCF are fully tax deductible. Donors may contribute cash, stocks, real estate, or farm commodities.
