Peabody-Burns High School forensics students recently competed in state forensics championships. They competed Saturday against all 2A Kansas schools.
Traylee Woodruff and Martin Hofkamp placed 10th in improvised duet acting; Paige Barnes, 12th, original oration; Seth Methvin, 13th, informative speaking; Alex Holm-McDowell and Methvin, 19th, improvised duet acting; and Sarah Hofkamp and Barnes, 25th, improvised duet acting.
Bishop Carroll High School hosted the event and Deerfield High School managed the tournament, which finished the season for the team.
