The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) has issued a warning regarding imposters using what appears to be the federal SNAP toll-free information hotline number to solicit private information.

If anyone suspects receiving illegitimate calls from (800) 221-5689, complaints may be filed with the FCC.
