Firefighters from Marion County Fire District No. 4, Peabody, visited Peabody-Burns Elementary School on Oct. 5 to educate students about fire prevention as part of National Fire Prevention Week.

Firefighters Steven and Katie King spoke to students in kindergarten through third grade about being volunteer firefighters and fire safety.

After the presentation, students toured two of the fire district’s fire trucks.
