Burns correspondent
The Friends and Fellowship group of Burns Countryside Church went to Asbury Park in Newton on March 30, ate lunch, and visited with Mary Langenegger. Attending were Pastor Arlen and Mary Busenitz, Emily, Carson, and Jessica; Joyce Kyle; Mike and Larry Spachek; and Dan and Alice Stucky.
Bonnie Plummer called on Hayley Bidwell and family at Leon on March 27.
Sandy Sayers visited Lawrence and Lois Sayers on March 28. Bruce Sayers was a dinner guest March 29.
Jim and Beulah Gehring called on Kyle on March 26.
Gloria Handle of Wyandotte, Oklahoma arrived at the home of her mother Marie Clark on March 27. After lunch, they went to Marion where they shopped and visited Norma Riggs. Gloria spent the night with her mother, and the next day Jen Stucky of Newton joined them. They went to a baby shower for Embry Nelson at Cedar Point. Gloria went home after the shower and Jen stayed to visit her mother a while and then returned home to Newton.
