Peabody-Burns instrumental music students will present their annual fall concert at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Brown gymnasium.

The program will feature Peabody-Burns sixth grade band members, the junior high Tomahawk band, and the Peabody-Burns Warrior band, all under the direction of Steve Glover.

“The public is invited and encouraged to attend this concert for an enjoyable evening of music and to support our hard working student musicians,” Glover said.

There is no charge for the concert.

Some of the songs performed by the sixth grade and junior high bands will be from different style periods in music history. Playing selections from other eras helps students experience different styles and types of music that have historical significance.

The high school band will be playing some of the music featured in halftime shows during the football season. The PBHS color guard will perform during the high school portion of the concert.
