Peabody-Burns High School fall athletes will be honored at a banquet beginning at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 3 in the Brown Gymnasium.
The PBHS Athletic Department will honor students participating in cheerleading, cross-country, football, and volleyball.
The banquet menu will consist of a hamburger, chips, relish tray, brownie, and drink for $6, $2 more for an extra hamburger, and will be hosted by Business Professionals of America. All the money raised at the banquet will go directly to BPA.
The meal will be served from 6:30 to 7 p.m., a change from what is printed in the school calendar, with coaches’ presentations follow.
To be assured of having enough food prepared, reservations are necessary by the end of the school day Friday.

“Also, this is a banquet and we expect everyone to dress accordingly.”
A parents’ meeting will be held immediately following the athletic banquet for high school basketball teams. The meeting, scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., is needed to discuss insurance, physicals, medical releases, and to allow coaches the opportunity to discuss their programs. The meeting should last about 30 minutes.
